Al Hilal kept the Saudi Pro League title race alive after defeating Neom 2–0 on Saturday, postponing Al Nassr’s potential championship celebrations until the final round.
Portuguese midfielder Rúben Neves opened the scoring early, converting a penalty in the 10th minute to set Al Hilal on their way to a crucial victory.
With the win, Al Hilal moved within two points of Al Nassr, ensuring the title will be decided on the final matchday, scheduled for May 21.
Al Nassr had been close to securing the title but were unable to celebrate, as Al Hilal maintained pressure in the race. The decisive final fixtures will see Al Nassr host Damac, while Al Hilal travel to Al Feiha.
If both teams finish level on points, Al Hilal would be crowned champions due to their head-to-head advantage over their rivals.
