Utz Quality Foods has issued a nationwide recall of several potato chip products sold under its Zapp’s and Dirty brands due to possible contamination with Salmonella.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall is linked to a seasoning ingredient containing dry milk powder that may be contaminated. While no illnesses have been reported so far, officials warn that Salmonella infections can be serious, especially for young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.
